Welcome
ATARA – All Things Amateur Radio Association is a family-oriented radio club set in the foothills of Southern Ohio. Our mission is to have fun with all aspects and modes of operation for amateur radio. We enjoy supporting a plethora of organized outdoor community events by operating from base stations, mobile stations & handhelds (HTs). We welcome amateur operators, non-amateurs, and family members to join our exciting club and to participate in all of our activities and events!
Join Our Monthly Club Meeting
We meet on the last Tuesday of every month — newcomers and non‑licensed visitors are always welcome.
Come hang out with local hams, share projects, and get on the air. Please use our events calendar for exact dates and locations.
Testing Sessions We Host
Get your Technician, General, or Extra — we run regular VE sessions.
Check upcoming exam dates, what to bring, registration steps, and study tips. If you’re new, start with the Technician exam.
Getting Ready for Your License?
Come sit in on one of our monthly club meetings; we provide after-meeting lectures and welcome new topics to discuss.
Want a study buddy, Elmer/mentor, or a study group? Contact the club — we are here to support the ham radio community and those interested in learning.
Prefer self‑paced? Ham Radio Prep offers a discount with code ATARA. Follow this link to find out more details.
ATARA may receive a 20% referral bonus if you purchase using our code. This supports club activities and does not increase your price.
